We used to wait...

I am an child of the digital literacy. During all my life, I have had digital material around me, I can't remember one moment in my life the I hadn't cellphones or computers around me. In the beginning those materials were not very popular, however nowadays, there isn't one person that does not own any kind of electronic device.
I was in my class called "Digital Literacy" I ran to a song called "I used to wait" and the lyrics are about how people used to write letters when they wanted to communicate with someone that is far away, and how we don't do it anymore because we have our phones with us 100% of the time. With letters becoming something obsolete, everything in our word has became faster and faster. People now will send a message and if someone does not answer within an hour, people already think they might be being ignored.
However, growing up in this new era was pretty good. I had the chance to stay in touch with my friends even though we are not at school anymore and that made it easier to keep some friendships after high school was over. It is also very nice to be able to send a quick message because people can help you if you are going through something and just need someone to talk to, because if we had to sent a letter, maybe by the time that person answered it would already be too late. The internet also helps a lot of people to expose their thoughts and opinions and you can find a lot of people that agrees  with you and that can make you feel part of something.
Of course there are bad things about this digital era, however let's just focus on the good one for now.

Until my next post! Bye!
